FAQ
Ask us directly. We reply in English, Russian and Italian.
Ask on WhatsAppNo. We register your Individual Entrepreneur (IE) or LLC entirely remotely with a Power of Attorney (POA), which you sign in front of a notary in your country, have apostilled and send to us. For bank accounts, some premium tiers prefer an in-person visit, but we specialize in opening multi-currency business accounts for clients who are abroad.
An Individual Entrepreneur with Small Business Status pays a flat 1% on gross turnover up to 500,000 GEL a year, with no need to track business expenses. It suits IT, marketing and design work. Some activities, such as financial services and regulated professions, are excluded, so we check yours before filing.
Company registration takes less than 24 hours once documents are submitted at the Public Service Hall. We then apply for Small Business Status with the Revenue Service, which is usually approved within 24 to 48 hours. Since March 2026, the status takes effect on the day the application is submitted, as explained in our Small Business Status guide.
If your annual turnover crosses 500,000 GEL, the amount above the limit is taxed at 3% for the rest of that calendar year. If revenue exceeds the cap two years in a row, Small Business Status is revoked and standard tax rules apply. We give you tracking advice so you stay on the right side of the limit.
The default regime is 20% income tax on net profit. Micro Business Status is 0% if annual turnover stays under 30,000 GEL and you have no employees, and Small Business Status is 1% of turnover up to 500,000 GEL. In every regime you must register for VAT once taxable turnover in Georgia exceeds 100,000 GEL in any 12 months.
An IE is the fastest and cheapest choice for a solo freelancer and is the structure that qualifies for the 1% rate, but your personal assets stay linked to the business. An LLC separates liability, allows several shareholders and directors, and pays 0% corporate tax on reinvested profits; tax applies when profit is distributed. See the IE and LLC pages.
Our published prices start at €350 for an IE, €420 for an LLC, €150 for 1% tax status, €300 for bank accounts, €200 for a labor permit and €490 for residence permit filing. Complete packages start at €1,150 and include all state fees. Compare every option on our Packages page.
Citizens of many countries can stay in Georgia visa-free for up to 365 days, so a permit is not needed at first. A residence permit gives you legal permanence, protects you against changing border rules, helps with banking and lets family join you. The most common route is the Work Residence Permit through your IE or LLC. The application must be filed in person in Georgia, and we go with you. Details on the residence permits page.
Yes. With your notarized and apostilled Power of Attorney we handle KYC and the compliance process at TBC Bank or Bank of Georgia and courier your card abroad. Remote opening typically takes 3 to 7 business days after we receive the POA; in person it takes 1 to 2 business days. Banks require real business activity, so shell companies are not accepted.
Yes. The price of the All-Inclusive, Corporate and Fast-Track packages includes all state fees, plus notary and translation costs. What you see is what you pay to get your business fully operational.
